Terms and Conditions Public Training

  1. The materials distributed to you (the “Delegate”) in connection with the Training (the “Materials”) are the copyright of DNV Business Assurance Singapore Pte Ltd (“DNV”) and are strictly intended for personal use and learning of course delegates only. The Materials may not be used, duplicated, transmitted, stored in any other format (e.g. electronic), or otherwise shared without prior written permission from DNV. 
  2. Recording and/or videotaping of the Training is strictly prohibited. 
  3. Delegates must comply with the reasonable instructions of the Training instructor(s) including but not limited to any safety, health and environmental requirements and procedures.  
  4. Cancellation must be given in writing. In an event that cancellation is received 1 week or less prior to the course, 50% of the course fee will be levied. For ‘No-shows’ on course, the full course fee will be levied.
  5. For delegates requiring accommodation, DNV has corporate rates. Booking should be made directly with the hotel, quoting the DNV course reference. A copy of the reservation should be sent to any contacts above for the purposes of hotel confirmation of corporate rate. Delegates must settle hotel accounts themselves.
  6. Should DNV cancel a scheduled course, the registrant would then have the option of a full refund or transfer to an alternative available course/schedule for the enrolled course (transfer fee is waived in this situation). We recommend that registrant wait until 7 working days before making travel arrangements.
  7. Delegates cannot bring any claim or legal action against DNV relating to participation in the course or from knowledge obtained during the course. The use of the information or documentation obtained during the course shall be at the user’s sole risk.
  8. DNV is not responsible for ensuring delegate’s attendance nor does it ensure a 100% passing rate for all delegates. Requests for refunds based on the reasons above will not be entertained.

  10.   DNV reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  11.   These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising in relation to or as a consequence of this Agreement, which cannot be settled amicably through negotiations between the parties, shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
